Coach Dan graduated from Union City High School in 2006, where he played baseball, football, basketball, and played in the marching band. After graduating high school he joined the United States Army serving as an Airborne Engineer. He served 4 years at Fort Bragg, North Carolina serving in the 82nd Airborne Division and played on the base men’s softball team. Coach Dan married his wife Dana Capela in 2022 and he has 4 children, Landyn, Olivia, Ariya, and Carson. Coach Dan currently works at Erie Sand and Gravel in Erie, PA as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Coach Dan has always had a passion for youth athletics as they made a huge impact on his life and helped shape the person he is today.
