Coach Walker is a 2010 grad of Clymer, NY. She was a multi-sport athlete who went on to play collegiate volleyball. Almost finished with her Bachelors in Heath and Sports Science with a Concentration in Coaching and a Minor in Early Childhood Education, Ashley works at Union City Elementary School. She has coached softball and volleyball in middle school, high school, travel organizations and little leagues since 2010, ages ranging from 8U-18U. She says the most interesting seasons were the ones she coached boys 12U baseball and club wrestling! She’s married to her husband Matt, a veteran and police officer, and they have 3 kids and 2 frenchies.  Coach Ashley loves collaborating with other coaches to help grow youth sports. With a firm belief in making girls better people as well as better athletes, she focuses on life skills and character building in every practice and game. When not coaching, you’ll find Ashley and her family attending police and veteran functions, volunteering locally, going to church, hunting, playing back yard games, keeping score in uno and having team sleepovers. She believes building relationships with the kids is just as important as strengthening their love and IQ of the game.
